The State Project Coordinator, Kwara State Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ ) Project, Engr. Dr. Busari Toyin Isiaka, has said that the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, will never renege on his commitment to agro-industrialisation to enhance food security, boost economy and open opportunities for employment.

In a press statement by the Knowledge Management and Communication Officer of the project, Dr. Sangodare Ayinla, Busari stated that agro-industrialisation is an advanced system of revolusionising agriculture to change the narrative of the usual practice of agriculture in the 21st century.

The Coordinator explained that with Governor AbdulRazaq as the Chair, Steering Committee of Kwara-SAPZ, the expectations of the people on the project will be met accordingly, and these will translate to ample advantages for the state.

He assured that Kwara's agro-industrial hub and agricultural transformation Centres (ATCs), which are to be sited in Malete; and in Olodan, Afon, Gidan Mogajiya and Kinnikinni, will be ready in the near future.

He appreciated the commitment of the State Government towards advancing agro-industrialization, food security, and inclusive growth in the state which are the visions of the project.

"We affirm that efforts are in progress to ensure that soon agro-industrialisation will take its full ground in the state through the initiative of SAPZ (Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones) Project.
