KWARA-SAPZ Rolls Out 2026 Projections as Busari Assures Stakeholders of Transformative Achievements

As the year 2026 commenced, the Kwara Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ ) Project has rolled out projections for the year, setting out a roadmap that signals a decisive shift from groundwork to visible and transformative achievements across the state’s agro-industrial landscape.

Speaking at an SPIU (State Project Implementation Unit) held at Kwara-SAPZ Office today, the State Project Coordinator, Engr. Dr. Busari Toyin Isiaka, asserted that the Kwara-SAPZ is inclined to delivering concrete results that will redefine agricultural processing, stimulate private-sector investment, and deepen inclusive economic growth in Kwara State.

While commending the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, for his unwavering support, ingenuity and commitment to situating Kwara on an excellent landscape in the implementation of Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones Project nationwide, Busari disclosed that "My team applauds His Excellency's devotion to progress and operational readiness of the SAPZ Project to drive agricultural and industrial development. He is proactive in the provision of critical facilities necessary for the successful implementation of the project."

He further explained that, "For Kwara-SAPZ, year 2026 will be a turning point. It will be a phase where planning gives way to delivery. Our projections are clear, we believe this year will mark height of greatness, we are prepared to make huge successes in agro-industrialisation. We will turn things around in terms of food security, inclusive growth and record fruitful implementation of SAPZ Project."

He added that, "Also, my team is ready to make the year a milestone in the history of agricultural engagement in the State, as Kwara-SAPZ will actualize for the State enhanced value-chain in dairy production coupled with transformative development."

The Coordinator reminded the stakeholders that Kwara-SAPZ is dedicated to quality performance to bring to the public good results by unlocking opportunities, and driving long-term prosperity through agro-industrial development with the construction of Agro-Industrial Hub (AIH) and Agricultural Transformation Centers (ATCs), noting that these will make stakeholders happy.
